ADAPT is pleased to announce that we are making available a total of 250,000 USD in funding to help schools in Cameroon transition to digital service systems and enhance communication with parents. This funding has been made possible through the generous contributions of various donors, including private and large companies, with whom we have partnered. Eligibility Criteria

  • IT Solution for Payments: Schools must implement a reliable IT solution to manage all payments.
  • Constant Communication with Parents: Maintain consistent and effective communication through digital channels (SMS, emails from school domain, or app API). Personal accounts or encrypted messaging apps are not accepted.
  • Parental Engagement in Digital Solutions: Encourage parents to use a digital solution. Minimum usage: 80% urban, 60% suburban, 40% rural.
  • Compliance with Funding Guidelines: Proper use of funds, reporting, and providing read-only API access.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Participate in periodic monitoring to assess impact.
  • Bank Account Requirements: Must have a bank account for international transfers and provide proof of payments from parents.

Disbursement Terms

  • Funds will start disbursement from May 2026.
  • Disbursement is contingent on meeting all eligibility criteria and a six-month monitoring period.
  • Details of funding usage will be shared before the transfer.
